God Driven. God Given. Purpose-Led

The Gifted Arts Mentorship Program

Each Gifted Arts Mentorship Program is customized to meet the needs of the partnering organization. Prior to the start of the program, We Are The Gifted, Inc. meets with leadership to determine:

  • Program length (8–12 weeks)

  • Number of participants

  • Age range

  • Creative focus areas

  • Scheduling (after-school, weekly sessions, weekend intensives)

The program is designed to be inclusive, welcoming participants with varying experience levels—whether they are beginners or already active in the arts.

Program Overview
Creative Focus Areas

Participants may engage in one or more of the following areas:

  • 🎭 Drama & Acting

  • ✍🏽 Spoken Word & Creative Writing

  • 🎤 Singing & Vocal Performance

  • 🎶 Rap & Musical Expression

  • 🕺🏽 Dance & Movement

  • 🎼 Music & Creative Expression

  • 🧠 Leadership, Collaboration & Support Roles

Not every participant is on stage—some serve in support, leadership, or creative planning roles, reinforcing the belief that every gift matters.

Mentorship & Instruction

Throughout the program, participants receive:

  • Hands-on mentorship and guidance

  • Skill-building instruction in their chosen areas

  • Confidence and identity development

  • Encouragement to use their gifts positively and purposefully

  • Team-building and collaboration experiences

Our mentors work intentionally to create a safe, affirming space where participants are supported, challenged, and celebrated.

Final Production Showcase

At the conclusion of the program, participants present a live production or showcase for families, school staff, church leadership, and the community.

The final production:

  • Highlights each participant’s growth

  • Celebrates creativity and collaboration

  • Provides a meaningful platform for expression

  • Reinforces confidence and achievement

This experience allows participants to see the value of their effort, discipline, and growth over the duration of the program.

Program Funding & Sponsorship Model

The Gifted Arts Mentorship Program is offered as a sponsored program, not a tuition-based service. As a nonprofit organization, We Are The Gifted, Inc. is committed to making our programs accessible while maintaining quality, integrity, and impact.

Rather than charging individual participants or families, the program is supported through a combination of organizational sponsorship, donor contributions, and nonprofit support.

Organizational Program Sponsorship

Partnering schools, churches, or organizations are invited to provide a program support donation to help sponsor the Gifted Arts Mentorship Program for their students or participants.

This sponsorship helps cover:

  • Mentorship and instruction

  • Creative development and rehearsals

  • Program coordination and materials

  • Final production or showcase

Organizations may choose to sponsor:

  • The program as a whole, or

  • A portion of participating students

Shared Sponsorship Approach

To ensure accessibility and inclusivity, We Are The Gifted, Inc. operates using a shared sponsorship model.

This means:

  • Partnering organizations may sponsor a portion of the participants, and

  • We Are The Gifted, Inc. sponsors the remaining participants through donor support, grants, and community contributions.

This approach allows more individuals to participate without placing financial pressure on families or limiting access based on ability to pay.

Scholarships & Donor Support

Program costs may also be offset through:

  • Community sponsorships

  • Individual or corporate donors

  • Grant funding

  • Program scholarships

These funding sources allow the program to remain inclusive while ensuring every participant receives the full program experience.

Equal Program Experience for All Participants

All participants in the Gifted Arts Mentorship Program receive the same level of instruction, mentorship, creative support, and participation opportunities, regardless of sponsorship source.

There are no tiered levels or reduced experiences. Every participant is fully included and supported throughout the program.

Our Commitment

We believe that every gift deserves the opportunity to be developed and expressed. By partnering with schools, churches, donors, and the community, we are able to provide high-quality, purpose-driven programming that supports participants without financial barriers.
