The Gifted Teen Program

The Gifted Teen Mentorship Program offers ongoing mentorship through regularly scheduled sessions led by trained mentors from We Are The Gifted, Inc.

Sessions can be structured as:

• Weekly

• Biweekly

• Monthly

Scheduling is flexible and determined in collaboration with the partnering organization to best meet the needs of the teens being served.

Each session focuses on building confidence, strengthening identity, and encouraging positive decision-making, while reinforcing the belief that every teen has value and potential placed within them by God.

The mentorship sessions are designed to support teens in key areas of development, including:

• Confidence and self-worth

• Identity and purpose

• Communication and self-expression

• Leadership and teamwork

• Decision-making and accountability

• Emotional awareness and resilience

• Understanding their gifts and strengths

Activities are interactive and age-appropriate, encouraging participation, reflection, and growth in a supportive group setting.

Program Focus Areas

Mentorship & Engagement

Each session is led by a mentor(s) who works directly with the teens through:

• Guided group discussions

• Confidence-building activities

• Creative and reflective exercises

• Team-building activities

• Encouragement and positive reinforcement

Mentors create a space where teens feel heard, respected, and supported—helping them recognize that their voices matter and their gifts have purpose.

Faith-Based Foundation

While the program is open and inclusive, it is rooted in faith and guided by biblical principles that affirm identity, purpose, and worth.

Teens are encouraged to understand that:

• They are created intentionally

• Their gifts come from God

• Their future holds potential

• They do not have to diminish who they are to fit in

The program emphasizes positivity, respect, and growth without pressure or judgment.

Program Funding & Sponsorship

The Gifted Teen Mentorship Program is offered as a sponsored nonprofit program, not a tuition-based service.

Partnering organizations are invited to provide a program support donation to help sponsor mentorship sessions. Additional support may come from donors, grants, and community sponsorships, allowing the program to remain accessible to all teens without financial burden on families.

All participants receive the same mentorship experience, regardless of sponsorship source.
